Day 1 : Marrakech - Tizi-N-Ticha - Ouarzazate - Agdez - Zagora

Our friendly driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech at 7 a.m. for our shared small group Zagora 2 day 1 night desert trip. We will leave Marrakech and travel through the magnificent Atlas Mountains and the pass of Tichka (2260 m), which offers an impressive landscape in the heart of the Atlas Mountain chain, to Ouarzazate, where many famous movies such as Alexander the Great, The Mummy, The Jewel of the Nile, Kingdom of Heaven, and others have been shot. The view is breathtaking. We make a halt at the kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, one of the most beautiful strongholds in Morocco's south and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lunch on site, then continue through the dry and spectacular landscapes of Morocco to the Draa Valley, where we will make numerous stops to explore the valley, Morocco's longest and richest in date production. When we arrive in Zagora, we will have a one-and-a-half hour camel ride to our Berber Zagora desert camp. First and foremost, our staff extends a warm welcome to you. Then you take in the breathtaking sunset over the dunes. After a romantic Moroccan supper at the camp restaurant, gather around the campfire with local musical instruments and enjoy the desert night with traditional Berber live drums and chanting. Spend the night in a Bedouin tent or beneath the stars.

Day 2 : Zagora - Agdez ❯ Ouarzazate - Marrakech

The second day of our Shared Group Overnight Sahara Desert Expedition. As you travel from Marrakech to Zagora, we recommend that you get up early in the morning to watch the sunrise on top of a sand dune near the camp. After these unforgettable moments, you will have berber breakfast and then ride your camels back to the original starting point, where you will meet your driver and board the vehicle. From here, you will begin your drive back to Marrakech via the Draa Valley, Morocco's longest river, where we will pause to enjoy a panoramic view of the valley with palm tree farms.After that, we'll traverse the Anti Atlas Mountains, stopping to admire the landscape and snap photos... We'll travel to Ouarzazate for lunch at a local restaurant and to see the famed Kasbah of Taourirt. In the afternoon, we take you to Marrakech and leave you off at your accommodation, bringing our Marrakech Shared Desert Tours to a close.
