Why are the prices for group and private desert tours different?

The cost of joint tours is set independent of the number of individuals who participate. Private tours, on the other hand, are more expensive because they offer a more intimate experience with only a few people in the group. The cheaper the price becomes as the number of persons increases.

What is the distance between Marrakech and the Merzouga desert and Zagora?

In total, that would be roughly 560 kilometers. There are 350 kilometers between Marrakech and the Zagora desert.

Is it possible to camp inside the sand dunes?

The Moroccan government limited overnight camping inside the Erg Chebbi dunes in early 2019 due to environmental concerns and to ensure the safety and consistency of desert camp experiences.
